Every year’s August issue of Dek Unu Magazine is a contest edition. The issue celebrates artists who push the boundaries of traditional photography using photo-montage, alt-processes, hybrids, experiments, and all other adventurous departures that show the diversity and power of hand-made, light-and-lens based fine art photography.

Five artist-photographers are featured in anthology format. Five works from each artist along with a bio and project description from each artist showcase each artist and connect to a savvy and sophisticated audience. Free online and in paperback for sale, the issue makes a great-looking addition to an artist’s  resumé as a resource for brand-building and professional development

There is a cash reward for the over-all winner and all remaining winners’ entry fees are refunded.
